The revenue of Russian alternative telecommunications operator Gars Telecom rose 24% on the year to 184.631 million rubles in 2005, the company said in a statement Monday. It is not clear what accounting standards were used.

Revenue from fixed-line and mobile communications services accounted for 46.4% of total revenue in 2005, consulting services accounted for about 31%, Internet access for 15.1% and equipment supplies and network creation for 7.6%.

Gars Telecom, established in 1999, provides consulting and system integration services, as well as traditional telecommunication services. (28.2182 rubles — U.S. $1)
