Gars Telecom announces a special nomination for startups “New Telecommunications for Smart Business”, as a part of GenerationS - the largest accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe, annually held by RVC in cooperation with major Russian corporations.
Within GenerationS accelerator sessions, Gars Telecom will seek the innovative telecom solutions for b2b sector, cloud products and services, optimization software for businesses, convergent telecom products and program modules based on SIP protocol. The solutions for digital product promotion, self-service, neural networks and algorithms, and innovations in quality service are also in the sight of Gars Telecom.
The candidates will be selected among GenerationS applicants, and the winners will be announced in spring 2017 at GenerationS final. The best telecom projects will be invested by Gars Telecom and also will be provided with business infrastructure tha includes office space in Moscow, computing capabilities, digital communication network on city and national scale, and pool of potential clients.

GenerationS was officially launched in July 2016 on eight corporate tracks: Mining&Metals, AgroBioTech&Food, SmartCity, Сreative Industries, LifeScience, TechNet, Power&Еnergy, Finance&Banking Technologies. The intensive corporate accelerator programs consist of industrial and business units, who provide lectures, workshops, and master classes. In addition during the accelerators, there are visits to production facilities of industrial partners as well as international internships, and specialized training focused on technological entrepreneurship in the field of financial technology, services and e-commerce. Specialists will include mentors and the top managers of industrial partners. The finalists will share GenerationS Grand Prix of 15,000,000 rubles and prizes from partners that total up to 100,000,000 roubles.
Among the partners of GenerationS are the largest Russian companies, leaders in their field: Moscow Exchange, Raiffeisenbank, GC Morton and Russian technical company, QIWI, Northern Biopharmaceutical Cluster, Krastsvetmet JSC, ALROSA, GC EFKO, Sher Oston, Irkutsk Electric Grid Company JSC, R&D Saturn PJSC. The corporate staff will be directly involved in the selection, examination and acceleration of start-ups participating in the GenerationS.
The global partner of GenerationS-2016 is Vilnius Tech Park (Lithuania), which will provide its assistance to the accelerator participants in bringing the projects to international markets. The development partner, Innovation Assistance Fund, will allocate grants to the best projects of GenerationS under the EGGHEAD and START programs. Other partners of GenerationS-2016 include Skolkovo’s Open University (OpUS), Amedia production company, ALROSA, Rostelecom PJSC, VTB24, BSC.

GenerationS is the largest accelerator of technology projects in Russia and Eastern Europe and the first federal platform for the creation and development of corporate acceleration tools. It has been developed and sponsored by RVC since 2013. GenerationS-2015 received a record number of applications: 2,566 projects from 14 countries. As many as 141 projects were selected to participate in the corporate accelerators in 7 categories. More than 20 Russian companies became customers and industrial partners of GenerationS. As a result of the accelerator, more than 60 projects will be put in work with a total prize fund of 160,000,000 roubles.
